Oceanfront Town Gains Approval for $1.5B Expansion
Seabrook, a 700-acre beach town along the Washington coast, has received approval from Grays Harbor County and state and federal agencies for a significant expansion, following a three-year planning process. The growth will include two new retail villages, over 1,300 new homes, a spa, a luxury hotel, and more.
The planned expansion will than double the 600 existing homes and is expected to create over $1.5 billion in real estate value and further enhance Seabrook’s reputation as a desirable destination. The town, which was founded by developer Casey Roloff, is known for environmentally conscious design and aims to create a connection between urban and natural environments.
To support its expansion, Seabrook is considering bringing in strategic investors in addition to its self-funded efforts. The town currently employs between 150 and 200 people, with additional contractors involved in construction projects. Companies supporting Seabrook’s planning and design teams are Qamar & Associates, MBA Architects and MG2 Architects.
