OCC Commercial Construction has a new top executive.

The Santa Clara-based general contractor hired Lowell Mazon as its new president. He has previously held executive positions at Trammel Crow, South Bay Construction and Orchard Construction.

Mazon’s experience runs throughout nearly every commercial real estate sector. He has worked on office complexes, shopping centers, medical-office projects, distribution centers, as well as other product types.

At OCC, Mazon will be in charge of construction project management, strategic planning, cost estimating and control, value engineering and critical-path scheduling.
