O.C. Housing Market Gains Availability
There are more homes for sale in Orange County. The number of single-family on the market was more than 6,000 for the first time in six months, according to ReportsOnHousing.com.
Last week there were just over 6,100 homes for sale, an increase of 675 listings over the last two months.
However, compared to a year ago, those numbers are 916 fewer than were available. Competition is also tough in the Orange County housing market. The amount of time it took to close on a home took 18 more days than the same year-ago period.
And apparently, it’s really tough to find a home in the county for less than $750,000.
Do you think the Orange County housing market is getting out of hand, or do you think the market is accurately priced?
