O.C. Condo Sales Soaring
Condo sales in Orange County continue to surge!
Year-over-year sales of condominium homes were up 17 percent in September, totaling 996 living units, according to research firm CoreLogic. The median selling price, at $430,000, also saw an increase of 7.5 percent. Although the condo market median price is experiencing robust growth, it is still 4.7 percent below the record high of $645,000 set in June 2007.
CoreLogic’s report also indicates that prices rose in 61 of the 83 Orange County zip codes. Meanwhile, in the 27 most inexpensive zip codes, year-over-year sales were up 17.9 percent.
