NYCEDC Seeks Anchor Tenant for Life Sciences Center at SPARC Kips Bay
The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has announced a request for expressions of interest (RFEI) for a world-class anchor tenant for the Science Park and Research Campus (SPARC Kips Bay), a life sciences innovation hub in NYC.
The center, to be located in a commercial tower, aims to establish a cutting-edge Life Sciences Center with a $100 million city capital allocation. SPARC Kips Bay will transform Hunter College’s Brookdale Campus into two million square feet of academic, healthcare, and life sciences space, creating over 12,000 jobs.
The RFEI seeks proposals driving research & development, creating partnerships, advancing talent development, and integrating with other SPARC components. This initiative is part of the LifeSci NYC program, aiming to create 40,000 jobs in the life sciences industry.
