NYC Tops for Office Developments

Developers will open more square feet of new office space in Manhattan and Brooklyn in the last months of 2017 than any other city in the U.S.

That’s 15 Manhattan and Brooklyn buildings, totaling 5.2 million square feet of new space, set to open by New Year’s Eve. The runner-up, San Francisco, has just 3.7 million square feet, followed by Plano, TX, with 3.3 million.

A few of the largest New York City developments include:

Stellar Management’s One Soho Square, (pictured) which will open 748,000 square feet of office space in Manhattan.

– Sabey’s repositioned 375 Pearl (also known as the Verizon Building), which will open 592,000 square feet of office space.

– Building 77, which will open 940,000 square feet of office space in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard, also the site of several other developments.
