NYC Police Foundation Relocates to RXR’s 530 Fifth Ave.
The New York City Police Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit that provides resources for the NYPD to build bridges with the community, has signed a full-floor lease for 7,803 square feet at RXR’s 530 Fifth Ave. in Midtown Manhattan. The lease runs for 11 years.
Josh Berg and Alex Kessler from Newmark represented the tenant, while Andrew Ackerman and Walter Rooney of RXR, along with John Ryan, Patrick Steffens, and Joe Gervino from Avison Young, represented RXR. Founded in 1971, the New York City Police Foundation is relocating from 555 Fifth Ave.
“RXR has enjoyed collaborating with The New York City Police Foundation and appreciates their ongoing efforts in providing resources for the NYPD, helping to make our city a safer place to live,” said William Elder, EVP, managing director of NYC Division, RXR. “We’re honored to welcome them to the ever-growing and diverse tenant roster at 530 Fifth Ave.”
