NY Times Taps CushWake Team to Sell Queens Site

Cushman & Wakefield was hired by the New York Times Co. to arrange the sale of 25-70 Whitestone Expressway, an approximately 3.5-acre commercial development opportunity in College Point, Queens.

A team of Stephen R. Preuss, Kevin Louie, Andreas Efthymiou and Charlie Dupont will be marketing the site.

25-70 Whitestone Expressway is currently attached to the New York Times’ printing and distribution facility on College Point, and will be delivered subdivided from the original lot. Current zoning allows construction of up to 148,104 square feet, with the possibility of 355,450 square feet with a community facility bonus.

“This scale of industrial vacant land alongside an expressway just minutes to LaGuardia Airport is a truly rare opportunity,” said Preuss. “Not only is the site next to the iconic New York Times building, but it also offers strong accessibility and traffic exposure to more than 138,000 vehicles that pass by daily.”
