NY Life Relocates to One World Trade in Sublease from Condé Nast
NY Life Insurance Company will relocate to 47,000 square feet at One World Trade Center. JLL worked with the tower’s landlords, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the Durst Organization, to arrange a 10-year sublease from Advance Publications’ Condé Nast. NY Life plans to relocate its offices from 120 Broadway next May.
With this transaction, JLL has subleased 229,179 of a total 400,000 square feet on Advance’s behalf. JLL’s Peter Riguardi, Steven Rotter, Joseph Messina, Jessica Berkey, Brett Harvey and Andrew Coe represent Advance.
NY Life was represented by JLL’s Matthew Astrachan, Nicole Tiger, George Gemelos and Kristen Morgan. The Durst Organization’s Eric Engelhardt helped facilitate the transaction for ownership.
“The roll-back of pandemic office patterns has brought a flurry of activity to One World Trade Center and we anticipate NY Life’s commitment to be the first of several in the near future,” said Rotter.
