Nuvera Fuel Cells Renews 110K-SF Lease in Billerica

Newmark has facilitated a 110,684-square-foot lease renewal for Nuvera Fuel Cells, a global provider of zero-emission power solutions at Rivertech Park in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Nuvera has been at Rivertech Park since 2006/2007, originally securing a full-building lease for its relocation from Cambridge. Located at 129 Concord Road, the property underwent renovations in 2001 and features two buildings, both fully occupied.

Newmark facilitated the renewal on behalf of the tenant with a team led by Richard Ruggiero, Torin Taylor, Matthew Adams and Rory Walsh. JLL represented the landlord, Rivertech Owner LLC, in the transaction.

“Nuvera’s renewal was motivated by it’s ability to maintain the advanced infrastructure in-place at the asset, confirmed growth of the hydrogen fuel cell industry we’ve witnessed and the unmatched access to highly competent work force nearby, among more.” said Ruggiero.
