NuVasive Plans New San Diego Plant

NuVasive, a medical-device firm based in San Diego, is building a new plant to expand its manufacturing operations and hiring 300 new employees.

The new 130,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility will feature computer-numerical control machine tools, inspection equipment and clean-room facilities.

NuVasive executives expect to select a site for the new property by the end of the year, and the building will be operational by the end of 2016. NuVasive is headquartered at 7475 Lusk Blvd.
