NRP Group, a San Antonio-based multifamily developer, launched NRP Construction, a new division. The company, which has designed, built and managed its own apartment complexes for more than two decades, now extends those services to other multifamily owners and developers throughout Texas.

Taylor Brown, an NRP Group veteran, is leading NRP Construction. Brown previously was NRP’s senior vice president of construction. He told the San Antonio Business Journal that the NRP Construction launch was “a natural expansion of our core capabilities . . . born out of demand from industry peers for highly specialized design-build and construction management services.”

He added that the division, which will operate out of NRP’s current office at 200 Concord Plaza, will focus its operations on Texas before considering a move to other markets.
