NRP Completes Work on SA Affordable Housing Project
NRP Group has completed Los Arcos at Vida, an $81 million project in San Antonio. The project was developed in San Antonio’s District 4 by The NRP Group in partnership with the San Antonio Housing Trust Public Facility Corporation.
The 324 residences come in one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans and are reserved for households earning between 30 and 70 percent of the area median income. Amenities include a pool with a sundeck, barbecue grills and picnic areas, a conference center and cybercafé, an activities room, a community garden, a playground and on-site laundry facilities.
The $81 million project was financed in large part by $36 million in tax credits issued by the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs, private activity bonds issued by Opportunity Home San Antonio ($38M) and grant funds from the Bexar County Economic & Community Development American Rescue Plan Act ($2.5M). Additional development financiers and stakeholders include: San Antonio Housing Trust, KeyBank, Barings, Huntington National Bank, Alta Architects and MBC Engineers.
