Novelty Candy Company Relocates San Diego HQ
Bee International signed a 10-year lease for 80,898 square feet of space within the Sunroad Corporate Center at 2020 Piper Ranch Rd. in San Diego. The deal is valued at nearly $7 million, and will involve the relocation of the novelty candy business’ corporate headquarters from Chula Vista into space formerly occupied by Factory 2 U.
The facility will also be used as a sales office and main hub for Bee’s warehousing and distribution center.
Voit Real Estate Services’ Jeff Saywitz represented the tenant. CBRE’s Bill Dolan and Rob Hixson advised the building owner, San Francisco-based Morgan Stanley.
Saywitz says, “The new facility will allow Bee to expand their operations and create a new state of the art long-term home for the company.”
