Novel Coworking Opens First D.C. Location

Flexible space provider Novel Coworking has opened its first location in Washington D.C. at Dupont Circle.

The company acquired the 190,385-square-foot office property, formerly known as the Longfellow Building, in July for $73.6 million. The 12-story building is located at 1201 Connecticut Ave. NW., nearby Dupont Circle and Farragut Square.

The previous owner of the property made updates to the building in 1980 and 1989. After acquiring the property, Novel made upgrades to the infrastructure of the building, adding fiber internet and customizing suites for 10- to 200-person teams.
