Not Enough Chicken? Just Wait, PHX

Who among us hasn’t had that urge – that urge that says, née calls, for “wings”?? Well, things are looking up for some new, about-to-be-opened franchise locations of Southern California restaurant chain Daddy’s Chicken Shack in the Phoenix area – that’s 10 new digs, if you’re keeping score.

Worthy of note, a note from their site:

The publicly traded company, (a nearby marketing love-child is HCDI) has raised about $100 million in the past 18 months and expects to have $160 million in revenue in 2022, up from $59 million in 2019. This week, it entered into a preliminary commitment with Washington Federal Bank for a $30 million construction loan for its 177-unit Tanglewilde apartment complex located in Lacey – according to the company’s website

Leadership has been, and will continue to be, duly cautious when regarding new projects (even if a first-reference from another publication is wanting):

“I don’t take any investment lightly, and I’ve done endless due diligence on Daddy’s Chicken Shack,” Liniger said in a statement. “This is a rock-solid brand with a remarkable foundation for expansion.”
