Northwell Health Receives Historic Contribution to Expand in NY
Northwell’s annual Constellation Gala revealed the naming of the forthcoming Upper East Side medical hub as the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Medical Pavilion. Victoria and Lloyd Goldman’s donation is the largest in Northwell Health’s history. The undisclosed sum contributes to the $450 million, 15-floor, 200,000-square-foot complex scheduled to open in 2026.
The pavilion will host Northwell’s Cancer Institute’s specialized women’s center, focusing on endometrial and triple-negative breast cancers. With cardiology, neurology, and diagnostic services, it aspires to redefine healthcare standards in the community.
The couple’s continued support through events like the Constellation Gala, which raised over $3.3 million, fortifies health services in Manhattan, including Lenox Hill Hospital and outpatient centers. “Their historic gift fuels our ambitious vision to reimagine health care in the heart of New York City and enhances Northwell’s position as the health care destination of choice,” said Michael J. Dowling, Northwell president and CEO.
