Northside JV Breaks Ground on Medical Office in Lawrenceville, GA

Northside Hospital Gwinnett has broken ground on Northside Medical Buford, a new medical office building located at 2800 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, GA.

The project, a partnership with Northside Hospital Gwinnett, Physicians Realty Trust, and Realty Trust Group, consists of 100,00 square feet that will house a range of patient services including cardiology, imaging, medical oncology, orthopedics, primary care, and urgent care.

The hospital acquired the land, which is 35 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta, for $10 million in 2020. It’s near Coolray Field and across from The Exchange at Gwinnett. It has direct access to I-85.

This new project is expected to be completed next summer. Northside recently opened a medical office building at its Gwinnett campus, where a 15-story patient tower is currently under construction. Northside also has plans to open additional facilities as part of Phase II of The Grove at Towne Center in Snellville, GA.
