Northmarq Tops $200M with Yorba Linda Purchase
In one of the first blockbuster commercial real estate deals of 2022, Northmarq’s Newport Beach Investment Sales team is brokering a purchase of The Bryant at Yorba Linda for $205,500,000,. The seller is Resource REIT.
Northmarq represented Los Alto-based Interstate Equities Corporation in the transaction, which is the largest deal so far in Q1-2022 and the largest ever for Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills. In addition, location – location – location: The Bryant provides ease of access to San Diego, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
The Bryant at Yorba Linda is a 400-unit garden-style apartment community that is under renovation – a project the purchasers intend to complete.
Built in 1986 in an affluent area of already affluent Orange County, The Bryant attracts high-income earners who seek an alternative to single-family home ownership in an area with an elevated cost of living and other expenses.
Northmarq’s Shane Shafer, managing director at the Newport Beach office, brokered the deal.
