NorthMarq Secures $172M for Development of Orbital ATK Campus in Arizona

NorthMarq secured $172.45 million in financing for the build-to-suit of Orbital ATK’S campus located in Chandler, AZ. The development comprises a three-story, Class A, office building totaling 356,000 square feet, as well as a 261,000-square-foot manufacturing building.

NorthMarq’s Eric Flyckt and Wyatt Campbell arranged the financing, which included a $153,376,000 construction loan and more than $19 million of mezzanine equity investment. The loan was provided by a bank, and the mezzanine equity was funded by an insurance company for whom NorthMarq is a correspondent.

The project is within Park Place, a roughly 180-acre business park being developed by the Douglas Allred Company. It is located at the intersection of the 101 and 202 Freeways.

The campus will serve as the Launch Vehicles Division headquarters for Orbital ATK, a global leader in aerospace and defense technologies. The company designs and manufactures launch vehicles that are instrumental in providing cargo to the International Space Station.
