NorthMarq Secures $16M Equity for Tallahassee Student Housing Project

NorthMarq has secured $16.2 million in equity for Haven 17, a 702-bed student housing project nearby Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Amenities at the new community will include a coffee bar, fitness center, yoga studio with on-demand classes, tanning room, sauna, gaming area, computer center, private study areas, Amazon package lockers and Smart Market vending. Additionally, the pool area will include a sun deck with built-in grilling stations, a putting green and a hammock garden.

Lee Weaver of NorthMarq arranged the equity for the undisclosed borrower through a private equity source. Terms of the financing were not disclosed.
