Northmarq: Multifamily Sale Serves as Benchmark for Fresno Market

Northmarq’s Fresno-based investment sales team led by Robin Kane and Brendan Kane recently brokered the $10.95-million sale of Sunset Sands Apartments, a 96-unit multifamily community located at 4585 E. McKinley Ave. in Fresno. The garden-style apartments were built in 1974 and renovated in 2024.

The Northmarq team represented the seller, XLNT Sunset Sands LP. The buyer was SRI Cedar LLC.

“The property presented several challenges, including the rebuilding and re-leasing of a number of units due to a fire,” said Robin Kane. “This sale marks the largest transaction in the local market to date and serves as a strong benchmark for Frenso’s investment activity in 2026.”

Sunsert Sands offers convenient access to both Fresno Yosemite International Airport and the Fresno Amtrak station. Both are within four miles of the property.
