Northeast San Antonio Getting 330 Units

NRP Group LLC closed on 11 acres at the 104-acre Bulverde Marketplace in northeast San Antonio. The land owner’s plan is to build a 330-unit apartment complex on the site, which is near the Bulverde Road and Loop 1604 Intersection. The sales price between buyer and seller, Fulcrum Property Group, was undisclosed. A groundbreaking date was not indicated.

Bulverde Marketplace has attracted high-profile retailers, including H-E-B, which will soon launch construction on a $12.7 million store. Fulcrum’s Benjamin Dreszer told the San Antonio Business Journal that the grocer will be the mixed-use development’s anchor. Upon completion, the project will have more than 350,000 square feet available. Dreszer also said the buildings at Bulverde Marketplace will be pedestrian-linked, so that apartment residents can walk to retail and restaurants.
