Northborough Life Science Property Trades for $33M
A joint venture between Wheelock Street Capital and Camber Development has acquired the Sanofi Genzyme Northborough Global Operations Center, a 212,000-square-foot life sciences building in Northborough, MASS. The sales price was $33 million.
Located on more than 19 acres, the property is currently fully leased. The facility is located at 11 Forbes Rd. in Northborough, just outside of Worcester. Completed in 1987, the building features a cGMP-warehouse space for shipping and receiving, quality control and cold and high-bay racking storage, along with offices and a laboratory.
Coleman Benedict, Matthew Sherry, Ben Sayles, Michael Restivo and Corbin Stall of JLL represented the buyer in the transaction. The seller was Chicago-based Capri EGM.
