North Side 7-Eleven Fetches $6M

JLL Capital Markets closed the $5.9-million sale of a newly built 3,000-square-foot, single-tenant retail building triple-net-leased to 7-Eleven. The property at 3159 N. Clybourn Ave., which opened in July, serves the North Side’s Lakeview, Roscoe Village and North Center neighborhoods.

A JLL team of Alex Sharrin, Alex Geanakos and Truman Tiernan marketed the property on behalf of the seller, GW Property Group. The buyer wasn’t disclosed.

Situated on 0.53 acres, the property is a fueling option for the more than 68,000 vehicles that pass by daily at the five-way intersection of Clybourn, Western and Belmont avenues.

“Buyer demand for essential retail remains strong as we head into the fourth quarter,” Sharrin said.
