North Park Apartment Building Hits the Market

Chicago-based multifamily brokerage firm Essex Realty Group has been exclusively engaged to market for sale 5026 N. Kimball Avenue, a 39-unit courtyard apartment building in Chicago’s North Park neighborhood.

The property, under the same ownership for over 30 years, is comprised of a mix of one- and two-bed units and features some extensive renovation in more than half of the units. Strategically positioned at the northwest corner of Kimball and Carmen Avenue, the property is directly across from the Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center and blocks away from both North Park and Northeastern Illinois University campuses.

“Well-located courtyard properties remain some of the most highly coveted among Chicago’s Multi-Family Investors, and it’s no surprise, given how infrequent the opportunity is to actually buy one. Aside from the obvious curb appeal – this is a distinctive opportunity to acquire a well-cared-for, corner building situated blocks from two separate colleges.” said listing broker Brian Keegan.
