North Lawndale Apartments Trade to Private Buyer

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a six-unit apartment in the West Side’s North Lawndale neighborhood. The asset sold for $501,000.

Eric P. Bell, senior managing director and investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, also a private investor, was secured by Bell as well.

The property is located at 1641 S California Ave., close to major highways and public transportation. It has a strong unit mix and has tenant-paid utilities.
