Nonprofit SKIP of New York Leases Two Floors from GFP

SKIP of New York, a nonprofit that helps chronically ill and developmentally disabled children and young adults access the services they need to live at home instead of in hospitals and institutions, has signed a 10-year lease for 27,000 square feet, representing two full floors, at GFP Real Estate’s 318 W. 39th St. in Midtown Manhattan’s Garment District.

Matthew Mandell, senior managing director of GFP Real Estate, represented ownership. VP Sam Stein of The Kaufman Organization represented the tenant. SKIP of New York is currently located at 601 W. 26th St. and is expected to move into its new space in Q1 of 2023.

“SKIP of NY wanted a quality building owned by a trustworthy landlord and a deal whose economics supported the organization’s mission of serving children in need across the region,” said Mandell.
