Nominate Multifamily’s Movers and Shakers for the 2026 ApartmentBuildings.com 100

For the second year in a row, Connect CRE, Connect Canada CRE, and ApartmentBuildings.com will present the ApartmentBuildings.com 100. These awards will honor advancement and achievement in the broadly defined multifamily space, including build-to-rent, student housing, seniors housing and mixed-use with residential. We’re asking for your help in selecting this year’s honorees.

From dealmaking and development to technology and finance, the awards will recognize success across deal sizes and pay tribute to innovation.  Individuals and teams can be nominated. Award categories include the following:

  • Dealmakers of the Year – including brokers, investors, developers, and executives who play a central role in initiating, negotiating, structuring, and closing transactions
  • Developers of the Year – recognizing planning, financing, building, and marketing
  • Investors/Owners of the Year – including private investors, institutional investors, private equity & real estate investment firm leaders, REIT leaders, landlords, and business users
  • Transactions of the Year – including purchases/sales, lease agreements, financing/refinancing, joint ventures and partnerships, development agreements, and sale/leasebacks  
  • Innovators of the Year (Technology, Property Management, Financing, Sustainability, Affordability, Private-Public Partnership)

About Paul Bubny

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. In this capacity, he oversees daily operations while also reporting on both local/regional markets and national trends, covering individual transactions across all property types, as well as delving into broader subject matter. He produces 7-10 daily news stories per day and works with the Connect team and clients to develop longer-form content, ranging from Q&As to thought-leadership pieces. Prior to joining Connect, Paul was Managing Editor for both Real Estate Forum and GlobeSt.com at American Lawyer Media, where he oversaw operations at both publications while also producing daily news and feature-length articles. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
