NKF Brokers Sale of 890-Bed Student Housing Portfolio in Raleigh-Durham

NKF arranged the sale of a three-property, 890-bed student housing portfolio in Raleigh-Durham. The sales price was not disclosed. The properties include College Inn, Campus West and University Village at 2505. All three properties are located nearby North Carolina State University.

Ryan Lang, Brandon Buell and Jack Brett of NKF represented the seller, Raleigh-based real estate investment firm The Preiss Co., in the transaction. The portfolio was acquired by Chicago-based Inland, one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate and finance groups.

“This portfolio presented a unique opportunity to acquire pedestrian-friendly assets near a tier-I institution with upside, given the long-term growth fundamentals of Raleigh and the Research Triangle area,” said NKF’s Lang.
