NKF Brokers $330M Sale of Waltham Life Science Campus

Newmark Knight Frank has arranged the $330 million sale of Reservoir Woods East, a life science campus in Waltham.

The property is comprised of two parts, 40 Sylvan Road and 50-60 Sylvan Road. 40 Sylvan Road is a three-story, 312,845-square-foot office building that features a long-term lease to National Grid as its United States headquarters. 50-60 Sylvan Road is a two-building, 202,428-square-foot former laboratory complex.

Robert Griffin, Edward Maher, Matthew Pullen and Samantha Hallowell of the firm’s Boston Capital Markets Group represented the seller, a venture that included affiliates of Marcus Partners and The Davis Companies, in the transaction. The buyer was not disclosed. Additionally, William Sleeper of NKF provided financial analysis support.
