Nine Deliveries Make 2020 CA Ventures’ Biggest Year for Student Housing

Chicago-based investment management company CA Ventures has delivered nine student living communities across five states totaling more than 3,900 beds in time for the start of the 2020-2021 academic year. With approximately 41,000 beds slated for delivery in the U.S. this year, according to RealPage, CA’s deliveries represent nearly 10% of the total.

The newest additions to CA’s student portfolio are located near Auburn University, University of Minnesota, University of Nevada, Penn State University, University of Alabama, North Carolina State University and University of North Carolina Wilmington.

“Delivering nine student assets in one year is a record for CA and a notable accomplishment by industry standards,” said Michael Hales, president of student living at CA. “To have successfully executed on our biggest year ever while also navigating the countless, unforeseen challenges posed by COVID-19 is something we are all incredibly proud of.”
