Nike Live Debuts in WeHo

Nike signed a 4,557-square-foot storefront lease at 8552 Melrose Ave., in the heart of the Melrose shopping district, for its first Nike Live concept store in Los Angeles. Nike by Melrose is situated at Melrose Ave. and Westmount Dr. in West Hollywood.

The concept blends digital insights with premium services, to provide shoppers with a new retail experience that pushes the bounds of seamless digital and physical commerce experiences. Using data from local NikePlus members, the store offers premium services, such as the Nike Sneaker Bar, where shoppers can talk to a Nike Expert about available footwear, try on an item on the spot, purchase, and go. Curbside returns and exchanges, the ability to reserve products to in-store digital lockers, and one-to-one personal appointments are also among the services offered.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Kazuko Morgan and Carine Mamann represented the landlord. The tenant was advised by Western Retail Advisors’ Jeff Nichols (now at CBRE).
