Nielsen Consolidates into 215K-SF in Chicago’s Loop

April 5, 2017

New York-based Nielsen leased 215,000 square feet at White Oak Realty Partners’ 28-story 200 W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago’s Loop. The TV ratings and data analytics company is expanding its downtown presence by consolidating all of its Chicago-area workers into a single location.

Nielsen will vacate roughly 190,000 square feet in Schaumburg, as well as smaller offices in Evanston, West Dundee and Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. The company already leases roughly 71,000 square feet at the Jackson building.

Nielsen will receive naming rights, as well as building top and lobby signage at the 487,000-square-foot property. The deal brings the building to more than 80% leased, with Nielsen accounting for roughly 45% of the building’s space.

A JV between Chicago-based White Oak and New York-based Angelo Gordon & Co. acquired the asset in 2015 for more than $73 million.
