Nick Jonas Opens Rooftop Bar in Downtown San Diego

Villa One Tequila Gardens has celebrated its grand opening on the rooftop above the Theatre Box on Fifth Avenue in San Diego’s Gaslamp District. The bar, created by singer Nick Jonas, and fashion designer John Varvatos will feature specialized cocktails, margaritas and Mexican cuisine.

According to CBS 8, the rooftop experience is said to, “Transport guests to Tulum, Mexico with luxurious textiles, shades of green inspired by agave fields and accent walls with neon signs.” Villa One Tequila Gardens will offer a variety of tequila-based drinks and a curated menu from chef Jorge Cueva. The 5,000-square-foot rooftop location allows patrons sweeping views of Downtown San Diego.

Jonas mingled with guests at the grand opening celebration and even mixed a few drinks. Villa One Tequila Gardens plans to be open seven days a week, until 2 a.m.
