Nicholas & Associates Tapped as Contractor for Ground-Up Multifamily Development in Madison

Nicholas & Associates, the construction management and general contracting arm of the Nicholas Family of Companies, has been selected by Moyer Properties as the general contractor for Aster Flats, a 263-unit, three-building luxury rental community set on a 4.86-acre site in Madison, Wisconsin.

The ground-up development is the latest in Nicholas & Associates’ Wisconsin portfolio, further expanding the firm’s presence in the state and region. Designed by HKM Architects + Planners, Inc., Aster Flats will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 588 to 1,395 square feet.

“Being selected to build Aster Flats reflects the trust and strong reputation we’ve established in southeast Wisconsin through a series of high-profile projects in recent years,” said Nick Papnicholas Jr., chief executive officer and managing director of Nicholas Family of Companies.

Nicholas & Associates will break ground in August on the new development, with construction happening in phases across the three buildings. Completion is anticipated in February 2028.
