Niagara Bottling Planning $90M Facility in Temple
Niagara Bottling LLC announced plans to build a 450,000-square-foot bottling facility in the Central Texas city of Temple. The California-headquartered bottled-water supplier will place its $90 million development on a 50-acre site in the 4,900-acre Temple Industrial Park, off Interstate 35. Plans call for a construction launch in March 2019, with operations anticipated to begin in Q4 2019.
The project construction will be divided into two phases. Phase one will involve $70 million in capital investment, and 49 new jobs. The second phase will focus on $20 million in capital investment, and 21 new jobs. Brian Hess with Niagara Bottling indicated that Temple was selected because of a “highly competitive and attractive combination of location, infrastructure and workforce.”
