NGO Bridging Access to Care Opens in Flatbush Gardens

Clipper Equity has announced a partnership with Bridging Access to Care (BAC), a non-profit, to open a new community service site in Flatbush Gardens, one of Brooklyn’s largest housing developments. With a focus on serving low-income families, BAC will offer behavioral health, housing, parenting, case management, and other supportive services tailored to residents’ needs.

BAC’s approach involves developing a personalized plan for Flatbush Gardens, including training local staff to be part of the solution. By providing in-kind office space, Clipper Equity aims to improve the lives of residents by offering critical services on-site. BAC has already begun offering programming, such as wellness events and support groups, to enhance residents’ quality of life.

“At BAC, we not only focus on what we can do to help individuals improve their quality of life, but also on how we can uplift and strengthen entire communities,” said Nadine Akinyemi, CEO of Bridging Access to Care.
