NGKF Completes Grindr Expansion at PDC Red

Grindr, one of the world’s largest social network apps, is expanding into 18,080 square feet of space at the Pacific Design Center’s Red Building. The tenant says it is relocating from 6725 Sunset Blvd., in order to “create a cultural hub” in the “heart of our community.”

The transaction is valued at more than $10-million by industry sources, and involves nearly 100 employees moving to new space later this spring. Grindr seeks to increase its reach as a lifestyle brand for the LGBT community.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Ryan Harding represented Grindr. The landlord brokers were JLL’s Josh Wrobel, Brian Niehaus and Jaclyn Ward. The 400,000-square-foot Red Building is located on the 14-acre Pacific Design Center campus owned by Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation.
