Next Generation Honoree: Tech Talent Scores Assignments for CBRE’s Ryan Sparks

CBRE’s Ryan Sparks brings more than 10 years of CRE experience to his role in San Diego. Since 2012, he has successfully completed more than 600 sale and lease deals, totaling approximately six million square feet of space, with a total lease consideration exceeding $300 million. He leads the occupier pursuit committee for CBRE San Diego’s Industrial Division.

Those are just some of the reasons we chose Sparks to be one of the five 2017 Next Generation Award winners for the California region. Connect Media’s Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

A deep involvement in NAIOP’s San Diego chapter for nearly a decade has encompassed active leadership in developing the Toastmasters program, as well as serving on its Developing Leaders board, Education Committee and Thanksgiving food drive. He also serves as a liaison for NAIOP’s mentorship program that connects high level professionals with the next generation of business professionals.

A recognized CRE technology expert at CBRE, Sparks’ prowess for engaging with new technologies early has led to adoption of such resources as VTS, Deal IQ, Sales Force, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Floored and Dimensions. The ability to effectively use world-class technologies to create and share a vision has allowed Sparks to present true differentiation, which has earned business.
