Next Generation Honoree: Marcus & Millichap’s Brennan Nails Deals That Might Elude Other Brokers

Specializing in apartment building sales of five to 50 units in central San Diego, Marcus & Millichap’s Conor Brennan has distinguished himself in a highly competitive arena since joining the firm in 2013. One way he’s done so is through sheer volume, closing $75 million in transactions and winning two Sales Recognition Awards, which Marcus & Millichap confers upon the best agents across the U.S.

Those are just some of the reasons we chose Brennan to be one of the California 2018 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s second annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Beyond Brennan’s ability to shepherd deals across the finish line that might have fallen short in other brokers’ hands—thanks in part to identifying and correcting issues before they arise—he also has a talent for establishing relationships with clients who might elude others. He’s able to leverage his market knowledge to achieve the best outcome for his clients, with an unparalleled ability to recall the cap rates, buyer/seller motivations, stories behind the assets, potential upside and third parties involved in every transaction.

Encyclopediac knowledge of a deal, and understanding its potential upside, aren’t all that Brennan brings to the table for clients. He maps out a detailed plan, including potential costs, to help clients realize that potential.
