Next Generation Honoree: Colliers’ Ferriello Handles Tech Firms Across Every Stage of Business

Eric Ferriello is co-leader of the Media and Technology Group at Colliers International. In that capacity, he has represented the unique real estate needs of media and tech firms in every stage of business, from newly-launched startups to some of the largest publicly-traded media and technology firms in the world, including Facebook and SoundCloud. His real estate solutions create unique provisions for dynamic change to meet the needs of every client.

In 2016, Ferriello took the lead on expanding the New York headquarters of what may the most recognizable household name among tech firms: Facebook. His efforts led to the company expanding its Manhattan footprint with a 160,000-square-foot lease at 770 Broadway. Ferriello also secured Facebook’s second building in Manhattan with a 200,000-square-foot lease at the nearby 225 Park Ave. South, which created an urban campus in the Union Square area.

Those are just some of the reasons we chose Ferriello to be one of the New York 2018 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s second annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

In addition to securing marquee deals for Colliers, Ferriello is also involved in overseeing a number of team members and supervising their development. Colleagues cite a level of leadership that is uncommon for his age.
