Next Generation Honoree: CBRE’s Frederick Fackelmayer Steers Creative Clients Right

A specialist in representing creative companies, Frederick Fackelmayer was one of the first brokers at CBRE to identify Brooklyn as a frontier market for these tenants. He has represented firms native to Brooklyn and national brands, and is a strong proponent of Brooklyn within the real estate community.

Fackelmayer has brought several well-known brands to the borough, like 72andSunny, that have helped further cement the area and its neighborhoods as go-to locations for creative and tech tenants looking for space in the New York market. Setting him apart from other brokers is his willingness to take a chance on an area that was relatively uncultivated in terms of commercial real estate, and push his clients in a way that ultimately helped their businesses thrive.

Those are just some of the reasons we chose Fackelmayer to be one of the New York 2018 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s second annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Fackelmayer consistently demonstrates an ability to bridge his analytical background at CBRE with his experience as a tenant-rep broker for the benefit of his clients. His innate ability to listen to the client, develop a strategy and successfully execute on complex transactions is a skill that he’s been able to strengthen over the years.
