Next Generation Honoree: Brennan’s O’Halloran Brings Multidisciplinary Skills to the Table

It isn’t common to join a commercial real estate startup at its founding during a severe downturn, stay the course, see the company grow its portfolio exponentially, and rise through the ranks to become a managing principal. That has been the career trajectory of Ryan O’Halloran at industrial specialist Brennan Investment Group over the past nine years.

“Whatever success we’ve had has been attributable to his hard work,” said company founder Michael Brennan. “Ryan has all the multidisciplinary skills required in this business, and is exceptionally strong in analytics and technology. He has developed an aptitude that has made great contributions to our company.”

Those are just some of the reasons we chose O’Halloran to be one of the Chicago 2018 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s second annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Along with mastering the fundamentals and quickly developing real estate acumen, O’Halloran brings the ability to see both the defensive and offensive sides of the business to the table. “He has a young energy and fresh opinions about the great opportunities that lie before us, and he understands how to use the various skills people have in our company to make those things happen and this gives him tremendous versatility,” said Brennan.
