2020 Next Generation Honoree: Newmark Knight Frank’s Erin McClure Sees Transaction Volume Rise

Erin McClure has earned respect and trust as advisor in the Phoenix commercial real estate community. As an associate director with Newmark Knight Frank’s Phoenix office, she assists a diverse set of local and institutional tenants—from law firms and finance companies to tech startups—in leasing office space throughout the metro Phoenix area.

The former Seton Hall University Division 1 women’s golfer understands the often-complex needs of corporate clients and leverages her keen understanding of shifting workplace design to negotiate optimal lease terms. She’s executed a wide array of services for her clients, including lease renewal/restructuring, site selection, property disposition/acquisition and feasibility studies. That’s also entailed developing and implementing long-term strategic real estate plans and managed extensive real estate portfolios, including lease administration for several national professional services firms.

It is not surprising to see transaction volume rise as her expertise in the metro Phoenix office market increases. In two short years since joining NKF, she has been involved in more than 35 transactions, representing over a dozen tenants in the metro Phoenix market for leases totaling in excess of 1.5 million square feet. She also oversees a national real estate portfolio with total lease consideration of $30 million.

McClure has established an impressive track record and reputation for someone so early in her career. Her strong work ethic, collaborative attitude and resourcefulness have earned her the respect of her clients and peers.

Since joining the company in 2017, McClure has been promoted from an Associate to an Associate Director. In 2019, she was selected and qualified to attend NKF’s Rising Stars program. In addition, McClure serves on the Young Leaders board with CoreNet Arizona, and has been actively involved in NAIOP, as well as heavily involved in Boys Hope Girls Hope.

These are just some of the reasons we chose Golden as one of the Phoenix 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
