2020 Next Generation Honoree: Heitman’s Kelsey Perrin is a Role Model to Many

As a woman in the real estate industry, Kelsey Perrin is a role model to many. She has successfully grown in her position at Heitman, starting as an acquisitions associate and now playing an integral part in industrial acquisitions across the U.S. as the VP of acquisitions.

Beyond her responsibilities at Heitman, Perrin has been enthusiastic about getting involved in numerous real estate organizations on a local and national level. Locally, Perrin serves on the NAIOP Developing Leaders Board and has most recently been nominated to the Real Estate Finance Forum Board. Nationally, Perrin has been involved with NAIOP’s Forum program for several years and serves as her Forum Chair. Most recently, she was selected as one of NAIOP’s Research Foundation Visionaries for 2020.

Although Perrin got involved with most of these organizations to further her involvement with the real estate community, colleagues say it’s clear that she is motivated to engage the next group of incomers. She is a mentor to many and open to being a mentor to anyone that reaches out.

These are just a few reasons we chose Perrin as one of the Chicago 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
