2020 Next Generation Honoree: McMillan PLLC’s Kayla Churchill is Active and Caring Community Member
Kayla Churchill is a commercial real estate attorney at McMillan PLLC in Charlotte. In her time at McMillan PLLC, Churchill has become the go-to person for lender representation for commercial lenders on a variety of loans from construction, acquisition and development to SBA loans. She has also assisted in growing the firm’s lender client base.
Additionally, Churchill started facilitating community outreach programs within her office where McMillan employees volunteer with various organizations in the local community. They have volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club, Safe Alliance, and Urban Ministries.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Churchill to be one of the Atlanta and Southeast region 2020 Next Generation Award Winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
Churchill is also active in her involvement with CREW Charlotte. For the past two years, she has been a member of the Student Outreach Committee and has planned multiple student outreach events at Queens University as well as attending events to participate as a panelist at Davidson and Queens. Through her involvement in the student outreach committee, she has been able to assist college students in connecting with CREW members who have careers they are interested in and to help identify students for scholarships as well as internship programs.
