2020 Next Generation Honoree: Cushman & Wakefield’s Katy Jane Jenevein is an Integral Team Member

As managing director, Katy Jane Jenevein is an integral part of a team that has built a capital markets platform designed to effectuate premium transactions across Texas and the Sunbelt. Since the team was formed in 2016, it has become a leading advisor for institutional office transactions in Texas’ core submarkets. Jenevein has been involved with investment sales transactions equating to $8 billion in total value as well as various debt placement and recapitalization events.

Jenevein brings unconventional experience to the team with a background in politics and policymaking. She has successfully translated her past experience into investment advisory and real estate, which she considers her greatest accomplishment.

These are just some of the reasons we chose Jenevein to be one of the Texas 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Colleagues say Jenevein excels at building a deep level of trust with her clients. They know that she will give them honest answers and opinions, making her a true partner to help guide their business needs and goals. She has taken on a leadership position within her team, essentially serving as “chief of staff” to ensure everyone is in alignment and each member is maximizing their impact.
