2020 Next Generation Honoree: LWH Advisors’ Jonathan Jaeger is a Lodging Industry Expert

A senior managing director with LW Hospitality Advisors (LWHA), Jonathan Jaeger is described as having an exceptional work ethic, having gone from executing two or three consulting or valuation assignments per month to managing and overseeing more than 1,000 per year. Moreover, he has already reached a stage in his career where clients perceive him as a lodging industry expert.

“His business acumen and ability to lead an organization of 35 professionals (especially in today’s challenging business environment due to COVID-19) are truly astounding,” says Daniel Lesser, CEO of LWHA. “The leadership responsibilities that I gave to Jonathan at such a young age are a testament to his extraordinary abilities.”

These are just some of the reasons we chose Jaeger as one of the New York 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Jaeger currently serves on the adjunct faculty at the NYU Tisch Center, teaching various courses in the hotel program. In addition to his regular weekly working schedule, he has committed to teaching undergraduate courses primarily for junior- and senior-level students in his “spare time.” Not only does Jaeger curate the curriculum, develop challenging testing materials and in-class workshops, but he also spends a significant amount of his personal time mentoring and supporting his students to ensure they are successful in his class and gain knowledge applicable to the workforce.
