2020 Next Generation Honoree: Berkadia’s Jason Krug Makes Significant Impact Across Michigan

Jason Krug’s work has had a significant impact on the multifamily real estate landscape in Detroit and across Michigan. With more than 13 years in commercial real estate, Krug has facilitated over $1.9 billion in multifamily property sales, bringing new real estate investors to Michigan and contributing to the development, rehabilitation and improvement of apartments across the city and beyond.

Krug reportedly holds the record for the largest single-asset multifamily sale in Southeast Michigan, a $115.5-million property in Wayne County. During his time at Berkadia, he has been selected for the Emerging Leader Program and has received numerous Power Broker of the Year awards.

These are just a few reasons we chose Krug to be one of the National 2020 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Krug is also active in industry associations and is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Urban Land Institute, and the Property Management Association of Michigan. Colleagues say he consistently strives to serve each of his clients uniquely and is recognized by his peers for his instinctive hard work ethic, dedication and commitment to moral professionalism.
